About the position

Join Brevel’s engineering team who lead the company’s technological research and developments in microalgae cultivation systems, downstream processes, advanced automation, AI and much more. We are looking for a talented and motivated control automation engineer with good analytical skills, strong programming ability and a detail-oriented troubleshooting attitude, to join us.

What will you do?

  • Implement full automation to all of Brevel’s processes from bioreactor preparation, to growth optimization and all the way to efficient downstream
  • Develop advanced algorithms for process optimization
  • End to end responsibility for the development process – architecture design, specifications definition, concept & feasibility tests, technology and vendor selection, modeling and simulating, motion profiles and control design, lab tests and system integration
  • Work onsite at Brevel’s commercial factory in Kiryat Gat

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in PLC programming
  • Experience with Beckhoff controllers, particularly TwinCAT 3 (TC3), is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Creative thinker with a track record of innovative solutions
  • Collaborative team player with a proactive attitude
  • Familiarity with Python and C++ is beneficial
